Order online
Pick monthly or yearly. You pay for the tag and delivery now. The subscription starts later.
Your tag arrives
Usually within a few working days. We email you when it's posted.
Get the app
Install Little Footprints from Google Play (open it here) and sign in with the email and password you used to order. It's for Android phones only.
Set everything up in the app
Link your Google account and choose which tags to follow: one per child, as many as you like. It takes about five minutes, and the app walks you through it.
Billing starts the next day
Your subscription starts the day after your tag is set up, or 30 days after you order if you haven't set it up by then. We remind you before the first charge. It then renews automatically, and the app always shows when.
Which tags work?
Tags that use Google's Find Hub network (Android's equivalent of Apple's AirTag network), such as the one we send you. They're paired to your Google account on an Android phone.
Apple AirTags and iPhones aren't supported. AirTags only report to Apple's network, which we can't read.
Why a Google account?
The tag uses Google's Find Hub network: millions of Android phones that quietly notice nearby tags and report their position, encrypted, to the owner. Your Google account is what owns the tag. Adding more tags later is done in the app.
Locations are encrypted end to end by Google's network. We store the positions of your tags so the app can show your child's day, and nothing else about your Google account.
