How often does the location update?
Whenever an Android phone passes near the tag. In towns and at schools that's usually every few minutes. In quiet rural areas it can be much less often.
Does it work with Apple AirTags or iPhone?
No. Little Footprints works with tags on Google's Find Hub network and the app is Android-only. AirTags report only to Apple's network.
Can I follow more than one child?
Yes. Pair a tag for each child to the same Google account, then choose them in the app. They all appear on the home screen.
Do I need an Android phone?
You need a Google account, and the Little Footprints app runs on Android. The tag is found by other people's Android phones, so your own phone doesn't have to be nearby.
Does my child need a phone?
No. They carry the tag, in a bag, coat or on a lanyard.
When am I charged?
The tag and delivery when you order. The subscription starts the day after you set the tag up, or 30 days after ordering at the latest. We email you before the first subscription payment.
How do I cancel?
From your account page, any time. Tracking continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
Who can see my child's location?
You. The locations are stored on our servers in the UK so the app can show them. We don't sell or share them. See the privacy notice.
Is this an emergency or safety device?
No. It's for everyday reassurance. For emergencies, call 999.
